Excuse me for the possibly bizarre title. I have come up to this idea whilst watching a you tube channel called lucidology, which discusses OBE's and lucid dreams. In one of their videos, they state that the reason that causes many beginners to be unable to accomplish lucidity, is that they are taught to rely on randomly attaining lucidity through performing reality checks frequently . I understand that WILD can be more reliable, but I think it takes more effort and time then DILD. I also still can't perform WILD reliably. It's very hard for me to sleep again even doing the WBTB. My biggest problem is eye flickering. i can keep my whole body still for well over 30 minutes. but i can't control my eyes. Once they begin flickering it's done for, they just keep at it and there's nothing i can do to stop it. I think that's the reason I keep failing atWILD . Also is there any dreamer on here that has had many lucid dreams through DILD and reality checks. I mean i began reconsidering that the reality checks idea in whole is worth it and i would really appreciate reassurance. Thank you. :)
