Lucid Dreaming | REM rebound is my way!

I used to go to sleep at night or after a night shift and have very vivid long length dreams. I stopped practising lucid dreaming over christmas at have just started picking it back up.
What iv noticed is that before when i was good at lucid dreaming i didnt have alot of sleep and due to working nights i would alot of the time be sleep deprived to a certaon but not bad extent.
Now im always sleeping lots and because of this i never remember big dreams anymore just the end snippets. Iv decided to go back to how i used to sleep.... Ofcourse i know the dangers of not having enough sleep but aslong as i dont deprive myself all the time i should be ok.
As alot of people here know REM rebound is prefect for people who want to W. I. L. D or havr an O. B. E....aslong as i keep to my dream journal... ADA... RCs and affirmations im ssure ill be back on track =)
